Gear up at Scotty’s Brewhouse Downtown

(April 29th, 2010) Indianapolis, IN – Carb up for a cause with Run4LifeIndy and prepare for the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini Marathon! A charity dinner will be held on Friday May 7th from 6-10pm at Scotty’s Brewhouse located at 1 Virginia Ave. Scotty’s Brewhouse has created a special menu and is contributing 10% of all sales from this offering at the downtown location to the Hearts4Haiti campaign. A silent donation auction with prizes for the winning contributors will be held by Run4LifeIndy. Don’t forget to gear up before the big race! Run4LifeIndy buttons and shirts are available to order online through April 30th at http://run4lifeindy.storenvy.com; proceeds from all sales
directly benefit the cause. Run4LifeIndy gear ordered by the deadline will be available for pickup during the event on May 7th.

Hearts4Haiti Campaign Wrap Party

(April 29th, 2010) Zionsville, IN – We’re having a party! Celebrate the end of the Run4LifeIndy Hearts4Haiti campaign and completion of the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini Marathon! Cobblestone Grill will host the Run4LifeIndy Hearts4Haiti Campaign Wrap Party on Wednesday May 12th from 6-9pm at 160 S. Main Street. 10% of all sales will be donated by Cobblestone Grill to the Hearts4Haiti campaign.

Live music/entertainment is planned, more details to come as they become available. A silent donation auction with prizes for the winning contributors will be held by Run4LifeIndy. Prizes will be donated by local Zionsville businesses including Cobblestone Grill. Cobblestone Grill is an upscale yet casual restaurant located on the brick Main Street in the heart of the quaint village of Zionsville. April 26th – Meet, Greet & Eat Your heArt Out! (March 29th, 2010)

Indianapolis, IN – Run4LifeIndy is partnering with ZING Restaurant to host a Hearts4Haiti Charity Dinner and Art Exhibit on Monday April 26th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at 543 Indiana Avenue. The entire second floor of Zing (including the balcony – warm weather permitting!) will be reserved for this red letter event.

Bring your open hearts and hearty appetites to Meet, Greet & Eat Your heArt Out. Join us for an evening of great food, specialty drinks, wine and craft beer at ZING. You can make a difference for the earthquake victims of Haiti with your patronage at this charity dinner; ZING will be contributing 20% of the proceeds to the Hearts4Haiti campaign! Some of the best local Indy artists’ work will be on exhibit and available for purchase. There will be special giveaways from ZING which you can win in a silent donation auction. ZING Restaurant is a small plate dining experience. Rather than offering individual starters and main courses, ZING serves dishes that are designed for sharing among friends and are brought to the table steadily and continuously throughout the meal. Run4LifeIndy Hearts4Haiti Happy Hour

Putting our best foot forward

Run4LifeIndy will partner with BuDa Lounge to host a Hearts4Haiti Happy Hour on Sunday March 14th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at 429 Massachusetts Avenue. Paul Poteet will be the special guest of Run4LifeIndy at this event in support of the cause.

Run4LifeIndy co-founders Brooke Randolph and Suzanne Zaleski will be hosting as “celebrity” bartenders during the Hearts4Haiti Happy Hour. Asian cuisine including unique sushi rolls are on the menu in addition to cocktails and cigars. BuDa Lounge will donate 25% of all sales from the event to the Hearts4Haiti campaign. Run4LifeIndy will also accept on the spot donations via cash or check. BuDa Lounge has put together a prize package which will go to the person who contributes the most to the campaign during the event. This event is published on the Run4LifeIndy Facebook fan page. Run4LifeIndy Hearts4Haiti Kickoff Party

On the road to raising $13.1k

Run4LifeIndy will partner with Urban Element to host a kickoff party on Friday February 5th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at 901 North Pennsylvania Street. Run4LifeIndy has officially named their campaign “Hearts4Haiti” and will unveil additional details during the Hearts4Haiti Kickoff Party. Paul Poteet will be the special guest of Run4LifeIndy at this event in support of the cause.

A buffet including traditional Haitian foods will be offered for a flat rate of $16 per person (drinks not included). Urban Element will donate 20% of all sales from the event to the Hearts4Haiti campaign. Run4LifeIndy will also accept on the spot donations. Run4LifeIndy Announces Mini-Marathon Hati Relief Campaign

Hitting the ground running

In response to the current crisis in Haiti, Run4Lifeindy has set a goal to raise a minimumof $13,100 within 100 days prior to the 13.1 mile OneAmerica 500 Festival MiniMarathon. Fundraising will begin Saturday January 23,0 and will continue throughSaturday May 8th. All contributions will be donated directly to the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission. The Run4Lifeindy brand identity and website design were donated byIndy Web Design. Twitter and Facebook pages have also been set up whereparticipants and supporters of the cause may join the Run4Lifeindy team in this effort.

The Run4Lifeindy Mini-Marathon Haiti Relief Campaign will include sponsored t-shirts which will be available for a minimum $20 donation. Run4Lifeindy has also partneredwith Scotty’s Brewhouse to host a Pre-Mini Pasta Dinner at the downtown Indianapolis location on May 7 th at 6:00 pm. Scotty’s has offered to donate a percentage of theproceeds from this event to the cause and will also be accepting donations at the hoststations of their north-side and downtown locations throughout the campaign. TheRun4Lifeindy team will host additional upcoming events and activities to be announcedat a later date.Run4Lifeindy was founded as a fund raising campaign to benefit the less fortunate. CofoundersBrooke Randolph and Suzanne Zaleski are participating in this year’sOneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon on May 8th and wanted to create a way tocombine this effort with obtaining charitable contributions.
